back from camp :D and loved it much too!
different setting, different approach, but still, learnt much from it :) praise God!
so...let's get on the journey...
day 1:
drove up to tanjung sutera, talk alot alot with mark in the car. haha. entered the room, and glad we didn't take the small small twin sharing type :P oops! haha. it was quite big for four of us, just that the toilet would always have queues since the flush works once every 15 min. haha. ate durian, played darts, soccer, frisbee. night time was worship and message, group discussion, sleep and woke up for 2nd day.
day 2:
mee rebus for breakfast i think. haha. their food was generally not bad, just that small variety and usually more veg than meat. why couldn't it be the other way round? worship and message, group discussion, BIG group discussion. lunched, almost ready for rock trekking but unfortunately, it rained :( so we played beans for awhile and went out after rain stopped but than, rain again...so postponed to next day. got blisters by wearing black lousy shoes:( played table tennis, badminton, sepak takraw! no umbrella at that point of time we ended, so needed to chionggg in the rain back to room. so some of us were all drenched. :P 2 new games introduced to us! balderdash and saboteur. haha! quite fun too :D
day 3:
rock trekking. started quite late so everything was pushed back abit :( something really new but exciting to us :) rock down some jungle jungle foresty area to along the south china sea :) lots of rocks over there so its called rock trekking since we needed to walk on those rocks. some parts easy, some slippery and difficult, some got water and everyone trying to siam those to avoid getting wet! stopped and rest at two points of time and also take photos. reached back resort and found that outside our room 16 was filled with red ants!!! ahh!!!!!! so how? violence(in a sense) lor! used 2 cans of bygon/shieldtox/ridsect/insecticides la! and spammed spraying!!! both inside and outside the room, made most of them died, sorry ants! opened doors and windows for ard 15min to clear the smell...haha! rushed thru dinner although i was maybe the last one to eat, with only egg and a little meat left :( but it sustained me :) helped the toddlers for the first time and they were so cute and funny and active. hair was dirtied with play doh :P hazel loves to play with ball alot! night time played saboteur and a little little bit of uno and chess.
day 4:
time to go home! learnt much from the camp too! the Gospel isn't as easy or simplistic as it seems or sounds. sad to leave, but glad to be home too! bad news as soon as we reached home. maxie missed us so much that he became sick :( no la, he probably got sick cos the home was dirty without cleaning. the price was shocking...$214 just because of after hours...total price became 276 after every thing. grr... if only that was my psle score..haha!
today: studied and did finish some holiday homework :) shall complete phy and a and e math stuff tmr with zegang jon and nic, and hopefully chem and eng very soon too! sian..they're not extending the hols, i think they're gonna regret as many ppl will get the flu once sch begins again!
